    I hope you warriors don't mind me asking a question.  I was just diagnosed at the end of October with pancreatic cancer.  Two paths confirmed a adenocarcinoma mass.  However, the Pet Scan showed nothing.  My oncologist told me that with some people cancer will not show up on a pet scan.  I find that scary, how will they find any recurrence, should I survive round one.  Has anyone had that happened to them?  My original cancer mass didn't show up on 3 previous scans, they had seen some lesions and finally did an EUS (endoscopy ultrasound), the lesions were harmless cysts but they spotted the MASS (1.4 cm).  All this time I have had MRI's on my breast since I have a history of ADH and breast papilloma's, but now I am not so sure that I don't want to go back to just having ultrasounds.
