ALH in large mass after 11 years

I have a large mass in the same breast that I had IDC in 11 years ago. After a core biopsy and open biopsy last month, all the surgeon can say is do an MRI in 6 months. The mass now occupies over half of my breast. Would love to hear from others with ALH and what they did

    You may want to check out our High Risk for Breast Cancer forum; lots of info there from other members with ALH and ADH, and how they've dealt with it. You may find some insight there!

    ALH and ADH were found in an excisional biopsy, that along with a scary family history gave me a 50% risk. I opted for a PBM. A small IDC was found in the final pathology. It was apparently missed or passed on a previous MRI and in the biopsy.
