Assymetrical breast finding and recall.

Hi all.... this is my second time being recalled by the hospital after a screening mammogram. I had my screening last Tuesday morn and got the call on Thursday aft. I couldn't get in to the hospital until today.. Monday.. for a repeat mammogram. I went and saw my GP last Fri to go over findings which showed 'low risk' assymetry. I hung on to those 'low risk' words all wknd. I've had a fairly prominent .size and hardness of a pea.. sebaceous cyst on my breastbone for decades. The tech saw this and put a sticker on it for identification. Turns out that this is what it was! Totally.. and gratefully benign. she recommended I tell the tech to sticker it nxt yr as well. I hugged my tech today. For all of you worrying right now just remember that compression issues are rampant... as my tech said today " breasts are fluid"....Hugs to you all. xo
