Does anyone else in this group have neuropathy type pain that may be caused by the Tamoxifen and Arimidex? I've been suffering with neuropathy symptoms since the year of my cancer 20007 that is continuing to get worse. I'm having problems describing the pain and not sure I'm being treated properly at the neurologist. One neurologist referred me to a partner that specializes in spasticity and when asked to describe the pain, she said that's not how it's usually described to her, but she would not say how it is described. I'm not looking for more pills and would love to get off of most of the current meds. I've been seen by my primary care, four neurologist, and a rhuematologist and have been treated for Restless Leg Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia, and I continue to get worse. MRIs and labs don't show anything except I am positive for the yen of HSP. After speaking to that doctor and how I feel, I'm not sure that the diagnosis actually fits even with the positive gene.

If you do have pains, what do they feel like? I am really stiff when I get up in the morning or if I sit too long. When I lie in bed, it's difficult to get comfortable and the pain seem s to radiate through my body. It's like I can just feel most of my spine and the pain extends into my outer buttocks, all of my legs and especially my knees and ankles, and into my arms. It may must be neuropathy, but I don't want to miss something like cancer in my bones. They just can't seem to give a clear cut diagnosis. I'm just tired of living to take medicine, and take more than I like, and it's no longer providing enough comfort, so I will soon need more. I haven't had a good night sleep in years, my vision is now being affected, as well as my memory. Please describe your pain so I can see it's better that what I am able to do. Thanks!

If the pain is caused by the medicines we took, does the pain ever go away? I've been off the meds since 2012.
