Brain Scan with Dye - Reaction?

I had a brain scan recently and they used a contrast dye - this was in a scan called an MRA. When they injected the dye in, I felt really strange, my throat went tight (but I could breathe), my heart started pounding and when I got up I felt quite weak and faint and shaky and blotches on my neck area (which I get when I'm anxious). They made me wait for a while after the scan just to make sure I was okay. Wondering if this is a small reaction or a panic attack? It's left me feeling scared of having this again and I know I will have to. Any thoughts? Thanks
