recommendation for surgeon in Philly area

Hi Everyone, On 9/27/16, I was diagnosed with a second breast cancer (previously treated for triple negative at age 38, in 2003). I have been followed by Dr. Curcillo at Fox Chase since 2014 because my original surgeon, Dr. Schwartz, retired. I am scheduled for a BMX with reconstruction on 11/11 with Dr. Curcillo. I LOVE him, he is such a kind, compassionate person in addition to being highly recommended by the excellent Dr. Schwartz, BUT....

However, since 2014, it appears that Dr. Curcillo has changed his specialty from breast surgery to more of a general surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive techniques for other types of cancer.

I know he does still do some breast surgeries but I am wondering if I should consider having the surgery elsewhere with a surgeon who specializes in breast cancer. If anyone has any advice, or even better, knows anyone who went to Dr. Curcillo recently, please help!!

PS I did get a 2nd (and 3rd) opinion and each was highly qualified and I still can go to Penn.

Also, any feedback on Fox Chase vs Penn, please weigh in!
