Recent diagnosis

Hello, All. I was dx with triple negative BC Oct. 10. Lumpectomy on Nov. 2. I have no experience at all with cancer, either family or close friends. So any advice as to what to expect is welcome. I have been told I will have chemo in about 30 days, followed by radiation. I know I can ask the medical pros, but would love to hear from folks who have been through this.

    Hello, Babs! DX 8/16/16. Uni mastectomy 9/9/16. Expect to be sore after surgery. The drains were the biggest pain for me! So annoying! Just try to be patient (which was VERY hard for me), follow the doctors' advice, and rest.

    I liked to wear over-size shirts and soft bras during this time of healing. Good luck! You got this!
