Group Prayers: The Seven o'clock Habit

Matthew 18:19-20

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."

Group Prayers: The Seven o'clock Habit

Prayer is powerful. Prayer is a source of strength and hope. Prayer is an expression of faith.

We should hold on to prayers, no matter what.We need it whether in thanksgiving or during times of distress. We need prayers, all of us, together. Religions do not matter, in the eyes of our Almighty Universal God, we are all equal, brothers and sisters alike.

Prayers can be short or long. A simple utterance such as "God have mercy on us", if said with sincerity, is already a complete prayer. The most important thing is the Faith that goes along with your prayer.

We, who are cancer victims, together with our families, friends, and even strangers are all in need of prayers. Sincere prayers. We need it to lift our spirits, to express ourselves, whether in joy or sorrow, whether in victory or defeat, and most of all, we need it for our own personal healing and salvation, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

I encourage everyone to do Group Prayers at Seven o'clock in the morning and/or evening for our deliverance, for our complete healing, for the guidance and protection of all, and for peace throughout the world.

Thank you very much.

    A Prayer for Cancer Victims

    Almighty and Universal God,

    We humbly seek your presence.

We give you thanks and praise for the many wonderful blessings you have bestowed upon us.

As we pray to you, we humbly beg for forgiveness, for the many sins we have committed. We want to be truly cleansed from our sins and be worthy of your presence. Grant us also the grace to forgive others who have wronged us. With your healing hands, touch us and take away our anger, bitterness and resentments that have bound us and made us sick, physically and spiritually. Release our minds and spirits from the forces of evil. Renew our faith and grant us peace.

We, cancer victims, together with all of our families and friends, implore your divine aid. In these trying times of our lives, we are asking for your infinite grace and mercy. Let your radiant love shine upon us. Be compassionate oh God, and hear our petitions. Heal us completely and deliver us from this dreadful affliction that befell upon us. Heavenly Father, have mercy on us.

Please bless all of our doctors, nurses, and medical teams. Give them the strength and wisdom to treat us properly. Bless also the food and medicines we take, that they may truly contribute to our complete recovery and wellness.

Father we also thank you, for the gift of friendship, from all around the world. We acknowledge your mysterious ways, that even thru our afflictions, we obtain blessings. Strangers who become dear friends. Brothers and sisters with similar fate, caring and sharing for each other. Thru these times of adversity, you make us realize that we are mere mortals, all equal in your eyes, regardless of race and creed, needing one another. Truly, there's still a lot of goodness and kindness left in our world. Father, we are truly grateful for the gift of humanity and we pray for world peace.

Make haste oh God, do not delay your mercy upon us. We need you.

All of these we pray to you Heavenly Father. With all humility, we put our trust and confidence in you.

    Amen.

it is a quarter till seven in the evening here in manila, i don't know about your time zone in your own countries, ladies & gents. I know i said 7 in the morning but as long as we try to keep praying at this particular time, am or pm, it is ok. the main idea is to develop a habit for it. so as a start, here goes my short prayer...

    Heavenly Father,

We are gathered here at this holy hour to give you praise and thanks for a wonderful day. We are grateful for the many gifts we received from you.

Please continue to guide and protect us in everything we do. Give all of us the courage and the strenght to face our trials especially those who are suffering from cancer. We also pray for the safety of our families and friends, here and around the world.

Send us your Holy Spirit to be our light and protector. May we all realize, that in everything we go thru, you oh God has a greater purpose for our own good.

Almighty Father we ask you to heal all of us, physically and spiritually.

Have mercy on us and the whole world.

    Amen.

Hi everyone, it is almost 7am here in Manila. i hope you're ready with your own short prayers for our daily 7 o'clock habit...

    * ON PRAYER *

Let our prayers be short but meaningful.

    Prayer nurtures our being.

A beautiful prayer is the one that comes from the heart.

Our kind of prayer reflects the kind of God we have.

The desire to be with God is a prayer in itself.

Prayer is an act of humility.

We pray because we want to change

    ourselves not God.

    ---

FATHER, thru your infinite grace and compassion, please grant full healing to all of us needing your Divine assistance. You are our Savior and King forever.

    Amen.

Have a peaceful & prayerful day, God bless you...

here's my prayer for the day:

A Group Prayer for Cancer Healing

Lord, You said that faith as tiny as a mustard seed can move mountains and that whoever believes in You will not perish but have an everlasting life. With firm faith, we now ask humbly of you to come to our aid. Save us from this dreadful disease called cancer. We believe in our hearts that You are here with us at this very moment and that with just a gentle touch from you, all our cancers will be completely healed. Father, be it done in Your glory.

    A little before7pm Manila time.

Prayer to St. Agatha for healing of breast cancer

St. Agatha, woman of valor, from your own suffering we have been moved to ask your prayers for those of us who suffer from breast cancer. We place the NAME(S) before you, and ask you to intercede on their behalf. From where you stand in the health of life eternal- all wounds healed, and all tears wiped away- pray for MENTION YOUR REQUEST, and all of us. Pray God will give us His holy benediction of health and healing. And, we remember you were a victim of torture and that you learned, first hand, of human cruelty and inhumanity. We ask you to pray for our entire world. Ask God to enlighten us with a "genius for peace and understanding." Ask Him to send us His Spirit of Serenity, and ask Him to help us share that peace with all we meet. From what you learned from your own path of pain, ask God to give us the Grace we need to remain holy in difficulties, not allowing our anger or our bitterness to overtake us. Pray that we will be more peaceful and more charitable. And from your holy pace in our mystical body, the Church, pray that we, in our place and time will, together, create a world of justice and peace. Amen.

Once again, 7 am here in manila.

Father, You are present in the eye of the storm, always guiding and directing my path. There is so much information and so many decisions! It overwhelms me, Lord, especially when the world's wisdom and my own understanding are at odds with Yours. Lord, help me to bring every decision to You and follow Your lead. Help me not to be wise in my own eyes, but to trust You completely. Then I will have healing from my body and strength for my bones.

Again, it is time for our 7 o'clock Group Prayer Habit. Please pray with us.

    Almighty Father,

We invite You into our hearts once again. Humbly we ask forgiveness for all our sins.

Your son, Jesus our Lord shed his precious blood and died to redeem our souls.

By the cross Jesus died and by it we were saved.

Thru this display of unselfish love for us by your Heavenly Son, our Faith grew.

And thru this same Faith, we, repentant sinners, now plead to You again, show us your undying love and mercy.

Hear our petition. Heal all of us just as You have forgiven our sins thru Jesus Christ our Lord.

Graciously send your Holy Spirit anew into our lives to protect us, lead us and change us.

All of these, in Jesus' name we pray,

    Amen."

    Hi majo,

    Thanks for your appreciative post.

Please do join me in this 7o'clock habit. This is for us to have a stronger faith thru unity in prayer

You can share your own prayers on this thread too. Of course nobody is obliged to do this, it is just an invitation for a more powerful petition to our Heavenly Father.

7 am and/or pm, short or long, original or copied, as long as sincere, are considered complete prayers. Others can just send confirmation posts to the preceeding prayers, just to let everybody know they are one with the prayer. It makes the prayer a whole lot effective, this i believe

Fond thoughts and many good luck wishes for you majo.

Hi everyone, it is 7pm here in Manila, time for our 7o'clock Habit

Here is a novena prayer to Padre Pio of Pietrelcina for his healing intercession for sick people.

    Prayer for Healing

    Beloved Padre Pio,
Today I come to add my prayer to the thousands of prayers offered to thee every day by those who love and venerate thee. They ask for cures and healings, earthly and spiritual blessings, and peace for body and mind. And because of thy friendship with the Lord, He heals those thou doth ask to be healed, and forgives those thou forgiveth.

Through thy visible wounds of the Cross, which thou didst bear for fifty years, thou wert chosen in our time to glorify the crucified Jesus. Because the Cross has been replaced by other symbols, please help us to bring it back in our midst, for we acknowledge it is the only true sign of salvation. As we lovingly recall the wounds that pierced thy hands, feet and side, we not only remember the blood thou didst shed in pain, but thy smile, and the invisible halo of sweet-smelling flowers that surrounded thee, the perfume of sanctity.

In thy kindness, please help me with my own special request:

[mention here your petition, making the Sign of the Cross]

Bless me and my loved ones. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

    Prayer to Saint Pio

O God, Thou didst give Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, Capuchin priest, the great privilege of participating in a unique way in the Passion of Thy Son, grant me through his intercession the grace of . . . [name your request] which I ardently desire; and above all grant me the grace of living in conformity with the death of Jesus, to arrive at the glory of the resurrection.

Glory be to the Father . . . [three times].

Time for our daily 7 o'clock Prayer Habit...

    Prayer for Cancer Healing

Loving Father, I come before you trusting in your goodness, kindness
and the power of your healing love as I lift up to you my sickness.

Heal me, Lord, of my cancer of (specify sickness).
Lord, you know all things, you can do all things and I know you love me very much.
Only you know what is best for me and what I need in terms of healing.

As I sit before you now lay your hands upon me, touch me,
heal me and bring me wholeness of body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Let the grace of your divine love and power flow to me right now to reach the
inner recesses of my being and spread to the different parts of my body.

Take away any pain or feeling of discomfort.
Correct any malfunctioning of my bodily organs and tissues.
Melt with the heat of your healing love all abnormal and cancerous growths.
Arrest the further spreading of those sick cells and create in me new and healthy cells.
Root out all the hurts embedded in my subconscious through the years.

Heal all my feelings of rejection, anger, frustration, aggravation,
all painful memories of the past and repercussions of traumatic experiences.
As you root out all these hurts, fill that void with your spirit of love, peace
and understanding, acceptance, meekness and tenderness, kindness, concern and generosity.

As I completely surrender to you my cancer sickness, deliver me from dwelling
on self-pity, fears, anxieties, hopelessness and all negative thoughts, and give me
the grace to offer all my pains and sufferings for other suffering people like me,
especially those sick with cancer, with no one to support them and pray for them.

Help me to see the blessings out of each trial to realize each victory from every tear,
to see your guiding hand and feel your loving presence in everything that is
happening to me, confident that you are totally in control.

Help me to learn lessons from my mistakes of the past,
and work on changes in my life and my way of living.
And then, dearest Lord, after I have been healed may my life be a witness to your love,
peace and healing power for others and bring glory, honor and praise to you.

All these I pray in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of Mary
and all the saints and angels.

    Amen.

    Have a wonderful stress-free day!

    God loves us!

    Father God,

We absolutely believe you have the power to heal. You demonstrated that while you were on earth, and you still heal in miraculous ways up to today. Even when our faith is weak, you say it is enough, and our love for you is strong. And we know you hold our hearts and lives in your hands. Only thru you can miracles happen. If we can bring you more glory through healing, then that's what we ask for. That's what we desire. In Jesus' holy name,

    Amen

Renew My Mind, Body and Soul

Lord, I come before you today in need of your healing hand. In you all things are possible. Hold my heart within yours, and renew my mind, body, and soul.

I am lost, but I come to you with grace.

You gave us life, and you also give us the gift of infinite joy. Give me the strength to move forward on the path you've laid out for me. Guide me towards better health, and give me the wisdom to identify those you've placed around me to help me get better.

In your name I pray, Amen.

    A Prayer for Healing Cancer

Heavenly Father, We come before you with a solemn heart and in need of your intercession. We pray that the cancer that has come into our lives soon fade into a quick remission.

We believe in your capacity for miracles, and ask for this on our behalf. As we grow older, we know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. We ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In Jesus' name Wepray,

    Amen.

    Powerful Prayer for Healing

    Jesus,
With just one touch from your Almighty creative hand,
You have healed the sick and raised the dead.
How amazing is your Lordship over all the earth,
How powerful is your redeeming love.
How great was your sacrifice to go before us and bring forgiveness and hope.
By your stripes I ask for healing.
Standing within your reign and rule I ask for restoration.
May life and wellness grow in fullness until it overflows.

    Amen.
