I have been with Palliative Care for around a year now and they are great. I advanced stage breast cancer. I was diagnosed in 2009 and it returned in 2014. I am now in remission. But I take arimadex, faslodex and they just added Ibrance, So I have a lot of pain, sleeplessness ,anxiety and so on.

Anyone else out there like this?

    Hi Melabela-

We want to welcome you to our community here at BCO! We're glad you've found a palliative care team that is working for you. Have you checked out our forum for stage 4 and mets members? There are a few threads there you might find interesting, on ibrance, arimadex, and faslodex: https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/8You're certainly not alone!

    Hi Melabela

Welcome to BCO but very sorry you have to be here. Regarding your pain, sleeplessness, anxiety etc, palliative care providers should be able to offer suggestions and medications along with helpful eating and relaxation tips to deal with each of these issues. I have first hand knowledge and experience with palliative medicine and agree with you, they can be great. You just need to discuss each of these problems with your team.

    Good luck to you -

    Amy
