Biopsy Tuesday

Well tomorrow is biopsy day for the following results.

Dx mammo: focal asymmetry with architectural distortion or spiculated mass.

US: 0.58x0.51 cm solid mass, irregular borders, spiculations, posterior acoustic shadowing, with increased vascularity that correlates to mammogrphic findings.

Birad 4b moderately suspicious for malignancy

I'm not too nervous about the actual biopsy, more so about how sore I will be tomorrow night and Wed as I am still tender from dx mammo and us 10 days ago. I don't know why I stay sore for so long with those, but perhaps because I have several complex cysts. Anyway I'm relieved that I will have answers soon and the dreaded waiting will be over. I know my odds are good with birad 4b, but still am ready to be done with the unknown.

thank you. The biopsy was not painful, but more a weird uncomfortable pressure. Now that the lidocaine wore off it is tender but not excruciating (like a boob migraine!). The radiologist said today that he is more concerned than not at what he sees and said best guess he has was 60% chance malignancy. Will just have to wait and see. 40% is still a healthy chance of b9! Hoping for results by Friday.

please keep us posted. I have my biopsy tomorrow. I have a much lower chance of benign, but lets keep focusing on that percentage! crossing fingers!
