Core Needle Biopsy

I had my biopsy on Tues morning at 9 am and I am still waiting on results. They said no later than Friday but was so hoping to hear something sooner. I have felt really calm about the whole thing until today and today I am so anxious I feel like I want to jump out of my own skin. The waiting is your torture!! I found a 1.5cm lump, irregular mammogram, 2 ultrasounds, both being scored as BIRAD 5, then the biopsy. I just want to know for sure😢

((((Hugs)))) You're right, waiting is absolute torture! It's honestly the hardest part of this "journey", in my opinion.
Hang in there Mama! Tomorrow is Friday, so you will know soon. Until then, try whatever you can to distract yourself. Watch some funny movies, color, grab lunch or coffee with some friends, etc. I know the waiting feels like forever, but it'll be over soon.

thank you. I just hope I get some answers tomorrow. If for some reason they are not back by tomorrow, not sure how I will muddle through the weekend

Hi Kristen, I hope you hear good news, I am in the same boat myself, had 2 core needle biopsies Wed along w a lymph node biopsy and I am anxiously awaiting results. I go from calm to anxious over and over. Prayers for good results for us both!!
