I've been on different AI's for two years now with some minor shedding/thinning. My hair came back fine after chemo, but the AI's have definitely thinned it out some. It wasn't until just a few months ago that I started to notice significant thinning to the point where you can see my scalp in some places if my hair isn't strategically placed. This was never this bad. The only thing that's different is that I received a Prolia shot in August which matches the time frame in which it got much worse. Anyone else see this? It's not listed as a symptom, but after researching I'm seeing a lot of women with the same complaint on other sites.

    Thanks!

hi dawn. I am experiencing hair thinning. I am on Letrozole (Fermara) since February 2015. My hair seem to start thinning about six months ago and just recently very noticeable. I don't take Prolia but I do take Actonel. My insurance won't cover the Prolia. What is the reason you're taking the Prolia? I had my bone density last year and results showed osteopenia and osteoporosis. So they started me on Actonel. Just curious I haven't noticed very many people with stats like ours that Have taken thetc regimen of chemo. Did you choose your regimen or were you told by your MO?
