ILC and nauseous

Hi,

I have been nauseous since my stage 2 ILC diagnosis. I lost about 15 pounds so far. I did have bleeding complications and needed a second surgery. I thought after my bilateral MX and TE my appetite would return. I still have two drains in. Has anyone else's felt this way for this long of a timeframe?

Are there any foods or medicines that helped you?

I had horrific nausea when I had a dermoid (benign) tumor on my right ovary (in my 30s). HORRIFIC nausea. Did not have it through any of the surgeries for breast cancer.

Nanpop - You indicate that you still have drains but not if you're still taking pain medication. Pain meds can definitely cause nausea. If you don't think that it's secondary to any of the medication you're taking, you should talk to your doctor about it. They can give you a medication like Zofran so that you can eat. Good protein intake is important for healing after surgery.
