can I get reconstruction a year later?? After chemo and surgery??

You can get reconstruction twenty years later if you want. It helps a bit if you know you want recon when you have your mastectomy so they can put in tissue expanders (if you're a candidate for them) but ordinarily speaking, a delayed recon can be done anytime.
