Hi. I began to itch really badly on the left side of my breast 12 days ago on October 4. I noticed that by the next morning I had developed a red spot about the size of a quarter on the side of my right breast. I went to my OBGYN yesterday on October 12. She prescribed lotrisone to be applied 3 times daily. I used the cream yesterday, woke this morning and the red spot was larger not quite double in size but, larger. If the cream hasn't helped she is going to contact a surgeon on Monday for a biopsy. I don't really have any pain, I feel a little bit of a warm sensation at times, I don't feel any inflammation in any of the lymph nodes around my neck or under my arm. If this were IBC would the symptoms have started to present themselves more by now? Example, would the rash have become much worse, or maybe developed some hardening in the breast or swelling? Sorry so lengthy, breast cancer is in my family both paternal and maternal. I just am not at all familiar with IBC. Thank you so much for your time.
