Neulasta question

We live in FL and have a salt water pool and hot tub. No one uses it other than us and a service checks the levels and cleans it weekly. Can I use this in case of neulasta pain or is this not a good idea? I realize I can't use it until the device comes off. I asked the oncology fellow at Mayo today and she said yes I could but I thought I'd read that this wasn't a good idea someplace. I was thinking this might feel good if the Claratin doesn't do the trick
