Nipple areola flap surgery

Two days ago I had nipple/areola reconstruction using grafts from my hip area. The area is covered with cotton like donuts which are actually sewn to my skin so there is no peeking at the results.
The coverings will be removed by the PS in 5 days. I'm curious as to what the reveal will look like. Is there much of a risk that the flaps won't survive? How long does it take they they are healed and achieve their final look?
