It's never too late for treatment. Of course biopsy results will tell for sure what you are dealing with and you really would need to biopsy the lymph nodes too in order to see what is going on with them. I hope they get your results to you quickly. You could ask your doctor for sleep meds or anti anxiety meds while you wait for your tests.

thank you ( already on anxiety / sleep meds )x

That's great, good sleep will give you more strength for the biopsy.

Hey Tam,
It's definitely not to late to treat. I had a multi focal tumour which measured 8cm in total. I remember being totally shocked by the size, esp as it didn't feel that big. I had the works- chemo/rad/hormone therapy and I'm now 1 year out and doing great. Dont get overwhelmed by size, there is hope!

hello, I am yet to be diagnosed however if someone could please help me with a few questions. I have found several large lumps in my left armpit area which when followed down towards the Breast and nipple area add up to be approximately 8cm in length. I also have a small pea size lymph gland in the groin area. Could this be spreading. Also what other symptoms were associated with your Breast cancers? Irregular bowel habits? Pain and tingling in arms? Dizziness? Lack of appetite? Back pain? Chest pain? Stomach pain? I would really appreciate any support as I am extremely anxious already x

To Tam007 - I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a B9! Please keep us posted.
Hi Aljg,
I am learning the boards here myself but they have a board called "not diagnosed but worried" and if you start a new thread there you may find you will get more replies. I am waiting for bx results from my core u/s of left breast for a 3.2 mass. I never felt a lump but I did have the following symptoms the last year: vertigo for 3 full days - agony; my bowel habits are irregular and always constipated; my worst symptom was fatigue which I found to be crushing and I lost 30 lbs over 18 months without trying as well as 0 appetite. My appetite is back, I have put back on 20 lbs of the 30, I am sill very fatigued which can almost feel depressing on some days. Anxiety is one of the worst feelings and I personally believe it leads to inflamation of my body; I try to keep the anxiety levels low and I use valium to help with that as I am usually a high energy-type person; if my body is not moving my brain/thoughts are. I find it very difficult right now to stay focused on anything but waiting for test results. I do not eat a "healthy diet" so I have been reading about diets the last 36 to 48 hours.
I did want to send you best wishes and say always listen to your body. On 4/15/15, I admitted myself to the ER - I knew I was sick with something and after 1 year of misdiagnosis such as lupus, I am praying like mad it is not the big C that has me feeling so blah.
All the best,
KTF
PS: Edited to add that I have found the root cause of my fatigue and it is not related to my biopsy but it certainly has made me feel more tired than I was 2 weeks ago.

Hey Ajlig,
I really hope you have gone to the doctors to get checked out. Timing is so critical with these things. Prior to diagnosis I felt extremely tired and lacked energy. I didn't have any of the other symptoms you suggest, but if you do then yes I would see a practitioner immediately.
All the best
