hot flushes and period stopped

hello everyone,

I finished my chemo about 3.5 months ago and started to take tamoxifen 1 month after.

Since half way through my chemo my period has stopped and not come yet. I am only 35 years old. Radiologist says is normal due to chemo and tamoxifen treatment. Oncologist says that tamoxifen shouldn't stop my period. He recommended to wait for another 2 months to see if my period comes back before going to further tests. What are your opinions with your experience?

Also, since I started to take tamoxifen, I am getting the famous hot flushes. Will I have them for the next 5 years that I will be on treatment or only until my period comes back? Does anyone know or can recommend any natural way to ease these hot flushes?

Thank you so much in advance.

I haven't had a period since April d/t chemo and now I get monthly zoladex injections and take aromasin. The only positive side effect for me! I have had hot flashes since chemo and they have continued d/t these two meds. My MO suggests magnesium for the hot flashes. Maybe you can ask your MO what they advise.
