Hello ladies, my name is Jennifer and unfortunately I'll be joining the "chemo train" as I've seen it referred. I was supposed to start this next Thursday (the 29th) but I think it may get pushed back a week since I haven't had my port placement yet. I am so happy to have found this board and have learned so much fromreading!
I am a nurse but have never dealt with this personally so I feel lost. I am not in any way excited about chemo but I am anxious to start since I know the sooner I start the sooner it will be over. I will be doing the TCH every 21 days for 18 weeks (6 treatments). I am anxious about possible side effects and hair loss. I'm sure everyone here can relate. Any advice, words of wisdom and/or prayers are greatly appreciated! I'm excited to get to know everyone!
