armpits got redden since surgery (lumpumtacy) in June

Hi,

I wonder if any of you might have similar experience. I had the surgery of lumpumtacy of my left breast in June and I found my left armpits got redden two weeks ago.

I also found my left armpit is always warmer than the right one which did not have any surgery.

    Irene, Have you asked your surgeon about this? I think redness is one symptom of lymphedema, which can occur weeks or even months after a lumpectomy due to removal of lymph nodes. I would expect the surgeon to also rule out a low level infection.
