radiation for pain-how long to see results?

Hello Ladies,

I had a question about radiation for bone pain. I had 5 radiation treatments for a mass on my arm that causes back pain. After 2 treatments I was pain free, then after a week the pain came back. Is this normal? I don't have a follow up appoint for another week.

I appreciate any help you can give me.
