Hi all!

Although I tested negative for BRCA1, BRCA2 and BART in 2012 and have zero family history of breast or ovarian cancer, I had a 79 multi cancer panel done and was told yesterday I am positive for Chek2 with a variant at Palb2 and Axin2.

I understand my two fold risk for breast and colon cancer. I had a bilateral mastectomy with no reconstruction so I believe I am done there. I will now have annual colonoscpies

In addition, I understand I have a slight increased risk for thyroid and prostate (children if positive) cancer.

What else should I be worried about :)

And about the variant Palb2... I understand a variant could mean absolutely nothing and I know I told the geneticist I would be okay with unknown variants.... but that was until I have one that could increase my risk for pancreatic cancer!!

I would love your thoughts!!

XO to you all! And on a much lighter note - I was stage 3b, Her2 positive, highly aggressive in 2011. I am about to be 5 years out since dx :)
