Oncotype test vs Pam 50 test. Any advice appreciated!

Hello ladies!

My oncotype test came back at 27. I can't decide on chemo or no chemo. My onco thought doing another test the Pam 50 might help with my decision. Have any of you experienced this? Could the Pam 50 show a low risk result? I'm so confused!

I was in the same situation last year. I did have the Pam 50 done after the oncotype. The Pam 50 placed meat low risk and I did not have chemo.

I have not done the Pam50 because my oncotype was high with my recurrence. I do know several people who have done the Mammaprint test to get a more definitive answer. 27 is definitely on the high end of intermediate. I was told with my recurrence that when the tumor goes from PR positive in first diagnosis, to PR negative with recurrence, it can be a bit more aggressive. Hopefully your doctor ordes some other test to give you a more definitive answer.
