Hi, I live in Westchester, NY, I am 41 years old, with a 5 year old little girl. I had a double mastectomy on June 27th and I am in the process of reconstruction. (2nd surgery is scheduled for 10/17 pending my treatment plan). I was originally diagnosed with DCIS stage 0, but after surgery, invasive cancer was found, stage 1A (1.2cm). I am in the process of figuring out next steps, Chemo or no Chemo?? I do plan to take tamoxifen, but since my onco score is 20 (the dreaded grey area), I really do not know what to do. Looking for anyone in the area that is or has gone through what I am going through to talk to. TIA!
