How do I Sleep after a Biopsy?

Hello all!

So at my tender age of 27 I had my first biopsy done today. And I forgot to ask my doc about how I should sleep? I'm usually a side sleeper. But should I sleep on my back? And avoid my side. Or just the side I had the surgery on? I haven't had too much pain. But I do have just a teeny bit of bleeding showing on my bandage. But not actually through it. But what about sleeping tonight?

    Hi BlueSeraph,

I just noticed you were new to the forum here (so am I!) so ... Welcome! I saw you didn't get a reply, and I expect by now you've figured it out. It may be (I'm not sure, I'm still new!) that this wasn't the right place to ask and maybe folks didn't know? My first biopsy, I think I slept mostly on the other side, but I already had issues (Paget's) so I don't know if my experience is the same as yours. And my second (and third!) biopsies were at the same time as my mastectomy, so they were not the focus of how I slept. So I wouldn't have known the best way to reply anyway. But I did want to say hello and welcome you. :)
