I think my lymphedema is getting worse

yesterday when I came home from the gym I had a shower

I noticed a lot of red spots and blotches on my affected arm, I took a benedryl because I thought it was an allergic reaction

In the evening my arm looked like I had a sunburn

This morning it is sore to touch

My Doctor doesn't answer the phone on Friday

What is happening

Yikes...this could be cellulitis If you can't reach tour doctor you should go to urgent care or ER. There are several threads below on cellulitis.

Yes, make SURE you get checked for cellulitis immediately.  And make doubly sure the health provider realizes the risks of Lymphedema and cellulitis.  Some don't!

2007survivor: Agree with getting it checked out asap. Cellulitis can spread fast.
