l have to get a pet scan on Wednesday 31st. I don't know what to eat on Tuesday. Everything I eat the paper says you can't eat.i can't it greens it hurts my stomach. Any body have any ideas on what you can eat.did anyone else have trouble with this. Thanks for any help. I'm hungry. Thanks

    Hi!

    I have had three PET scans. The day before? Protein, protein, protein. Scrambled eggs, chicken, steak, hard cheese, nuts, etc.. Non-starchy vegetables like broccoli, spinach, green beans. No carbs like bread, pasta, and rice. I remember how hard it was to eat the protein diet while I was doing chemo because there were very few things that were palatable to me. I remember my husband making me scrambled eggs and steak for dinner. Best wishes!
