This is an interesting idea since it opens up the possibility of using numerous agents together. Each agent aimed at a specific cancer pathway. The more pathways that are blocked, the better chance of a curative effect. Since side effects (toxicity) is the number one problem with a multi-agent approach, using metronomic dosage regimen and lower doses of each drug may be wise idea.

I believe some researchers suggest this metronomic dosage approach might be useful for PI3K inhibitors, which tend to generate numerous side effects, which was discussed in this thread: ER+ Cancer and drug resistance.

And one of the meds in the article is actually associated with extended longevity in "normal" people.

Everything helps! I know Gleevic is a maintenance program as well, not a cure. Would be amazing to think of cancer in the same mind-frame as obesity and heart disease rather than immanent death.
