Question to Nioxin shampoo users

How long after chemo did you keep using it? I'm 17 weeks pfc, have 1 inch of hair and my bottle of Nioxin shampoo is starting to get empty. Should I order another one or switch to something else? Is Nioxin shampoo still usefull once your hair is growing?

My beautician (who recommended Nioxin in the first place) said that once my hair was growing back nicely, then I should switch back to a regular shampoo.

Mine came back very nicely, so I think the Nioxin does help!

I'm wondering if there is a reason to switch? I've continued to use the shampoo and conditioner because I like the way my hair looks!

hi, I used up the bottle of Nioxin because it was expensive, then went back to my regular shampoo.

I would stay on Nioxin for a while longer. It is a stimulant to the scalp and will help your hair grow in stronger and more consistently. I have used it during periods of stress, ie. CPA exam, in which my hair shed alot.
