Felt something on self-exam

Hello there -

I was Dx 3/2016 w/IDC left breast. This morning was doing my self-exam and felt something in my right breast. I haven't had a mammogram since the initial Dx. I see both my BS and RO next week for a follow up and I'll ask them both about it. Onthe one hand, I'd like to think it's nothing, but on the other hand, that's what I thought last time. I'm right between panic and denial which has kind of left me feeling numb. No question, really. Just dumbfounded.

Can you ask to have your appointment moved up a bit? Perhaps they could order a mammogram and ultrasound prior to your visit. I would definitely call your BS or MO. Hoping it is something benign.

I would call....can't hurt to see if they can move you up. Let them know that you are worried and see if they can fit you in somewhere.

For the record, I've felt things a few times and each time they turned out to be benign. I know you are worried, but I just wanted to share that.
