Hi, I am having the second part of my reconstruction surgery next Tuesday. I had expander so put in after my mastectomy. Now I will have my final saline implants put in. My ps and I decided that a fat graft would help even things out. I'm thin, 117 and 5'6. But there is some nice reserve fat on my belly. What is the recovery like for this type of procedure. The mastectomy recovery was awful. Also will the fat make my boob (foods) look too big? I am now a c cup which I'm liking. I was a large a.

Thanks everyone

If everything goes the way it's supposed to, everything will be fine. No worries about your breasts being too large. Only about 1/3 of the grafted fat survives. Also, on the abdomen issue after lipo - make sure you get a compression garnment, it helps, You might be bruised for a few days. What I did for my bruises in the many fat grafting surgeries i had, I used arthritis ointment, It worked wonders. Considering the fact that it normally works by increasing blood circulation, that is exactly what you need to make bruises fade faster. Don't be alarmed after a couple months if you find some tough "beads" under the skin in the abdominal area or even on the breast. It's scar and fat necrosis, it will go away in time.
