Aromitase and back pain

I have been on Aromotase for a little over a month. A few days ago I began experiencing back pain....moves from lower back to between shoulder blades to mid back to across shoulders and sometimes multiple areas. I also have occasional arm and leg pain. Sometimes I have tooth sensitivity that also moves from lower to upper and to either side of my mouth. None of this pain is severe....and not constant but is aggravating. It doesn't keep me up at night. Anyone have similar side effects from taking an AI?

I had back and hip issues on Arimdex along with arm, knee, feet. Hmmm most of my joints.

Farmerlucy...how long did your pain last? Mine has been daily for the last week since it first began. I have been on aromotazole for about 6 weeks now.

I stuck with Arimidex a mere three months. Besides the truly debilitating hip, back, and knee issues, fatigue was a big factor. I have fifteen acres and a bunch of animals to tend so I stopped the Arimidex and went back to my old standby Tamoxifen. Not sure if I want to mess with trying Aromisin. My body just needs estrogen. Nineteen months to go.

spoke with my oncologist today. He thinks my back pain is from my new exercise routine or possibly the AI. Fortunately the pain has subsided. He did say I should continue with weight lifting as it is excellent for bone health. I asked about difference in AI pain and bone mets. He said bone mets pain would be severe and would not go away and that it would be very rare for mets to occur this soon after treatment. I think stress also played a big part in my pain because after talking with him my pain seemed to get better as the day went on!
