Fibrocystic changes and pain

what kind of pain is normal for fibrocystic breast changes? I get horrible, stop what I'm doing and clutch my breast, take my breath away with tears welling up in my eyes, stabbing and piercing kind of pain. Could this really just be from benignfibrocystic changes?
