NOLA, Dr. Trahan & Dr. Ordoyne anyone?

    I'm tentatively scheduled for bilateral DIEP on August 31st @ NOLA and need to confirm everything Monday. Dr. Trahan was one of two PS docs available (Dr. Wise was also available but I selected Trahan based on longer experience at NOLA). Both Dr. Sullivan & DellaCroce aren't available until October and I can't wait that long to do mastectomy part. I'm nervous as all the good things I've read and heard about NOLA are Dr. S and Dr. D. (not Dr. Trahan). Anyone have input or experience with Dr. Trahan they can impart? I've searched the boards and found some but not a ton of feedback.

    And of course Dr. Ordoyne would be doing the mastectomies. I can't find anything on him on the boards. I'm very happy with my Chicago based breast oncological surgeon and know nothing about Dr. Ordoyne—the cancer part is the MOST important part. Anyone have input or experience with Dr. Ordoyne they can share, too? Thank you kindly, ladies!

    Hi Mandy, did you end up having your surgery? If so, can you tell me if you're happy with the results? How did Dr. Trahan do? I'm considering him for surgery for myself early next year.
