Tamoxifen and Pancreatitis

I have been taking Tamoxifen since January and for the last ten days I have had terrible stomach pains. No heartburn but plenty of belching.

I had a precautionary EKG and it showed no heart problem. Tried prescription Omeprazole but it doesn't phase it.

So today they drew blood thinking Pancreatitis.

Found a couple of abstracts about women developing Pancreatitis and the belief that the Tamoxifen was to blame.

Has anyone had this problem?
