Liver lesion

I was diagnosed with IDC in 2010 where i had chemo..surgery..and rad. I was stage 3. Every thing is going well with me...and i am now out of the country in africa...i depend on doing monthly ultrasounds and blood works all is normal.
I did an ultra sound on 28th june all was normal. Two days ago i did another ultrasound and they found a small lesion on the liver 2x1.2cm. And was advised to do ct.
I did blood work all is normal even Lft.
I talked to my dr and he said it is none specific and it could be hemangioma.
In a previouse ct scan in 2011 i was told i have hemangioma
My questions
1. Could i have normal results if i have mets. Ei..liver function test normal
2. Those who had liver mets how soon can you start exp. The symptoms.
3. how likely is hemangioma does it do away and come back
4. Do you do ca27.29 or15-3 test here they have 15-3 only but my dr told me it is not accurate because it can go high due to other bengin conditions...
5. How high is worrisom in ca15-3 for those who fo it.
6. How common is number of mass on liver more than one..like you should find several spots or nothing in specific
Thnx

any help

Hi Nilelady, if I understand correctly your oncologist is not concerned and you had a lesion in the same spot years ago that was described as hemangioma? Hemangiomas are quite common, benign and they do not go away (we are usually born with them.) If your liver enzimes are mostly normal otherwise, don't worry and trust your MO.

hi muska and thnx for z reply.
But i did several ultrasounds they have not caught those hemangiomas.
My liver enzymes are normal but still i see zm high
My onco is not concerned

I have had so many scares....I am the one freaking....but the doctor tells me he isn't concerned. I get all the scans for peace of mind and yep....he was right.....I shouldn't have been concerned. It's hard to trust because this is scary business.....but if he isn't worried.... I would try not to be worried either.
