So, after my biopsy comes back the course of action would be chemotherapy. Are there different types, duration? Does it just depend on what you need? I'm assuming I will have a PET/CT scan to get a beat what's going on with my body. I've heard mixed reviews on chemo. In the melanoma world it doesn't work but it sounds like it has some effectiveness in the IBC world, yes?

    Yes, the chemo depends on what your onc thinks you need. I did FEC x 3 and Taxol x 3. All with three-weekly breaks. A PET scan is used if your team thinks the cancer may have spread to other parts of your body. Chemo works very well on IBC patients who generally have aggressive tumors.
