Fine needle aspiration ?

I have a lump that has been under watch since November. It has grown from pea size to penny size. Every ultrasound or mammo sees nothing. My Doctor always comments that she isn't concerned at all and today she told me she felt it was a 'fatty lobule' I told her I was still worried because I'm getting breast pain and the growth.

She decided to do a FNA in office. Is this a sufficient way to detect anything ? How long does it usually take to get results. I hate waiting thanks for any input.

I had a FNA about 9 years ago. Turned out to be a fibroadenoma and completely benign. Took about a week to get the results back.
