I went and had my sonogram last week and the technician only checked the top half of each breast. (I suppose that's because that was where my 2 palpable lumps were) She ended up finding 6 cysts in my left breast and 3 in my right. My question is, with having so many cysts and this being my first mammogram and sonogram, shouldn't she have checked my whole breasts? She checked from 12 to 3 and 9 to 12 on each one. I guess I should also mention that I have dense breasts as well. Thoughts?
