"Massage" of implant to correct assymetry

Hi everyone,

Five weeks ago today I had my exchange surgery and had Natrelle 410 FF's, 595 cc's put in. From the time I woke up from surgery, "Lefty" has not felt right. Within a few days I could tell the two implants were not behaving the same either. Lefty stays up higher and is more firm. To make it worse, on Day 23 post exchange I was rear-ended while driving and had some bruising and swelling from the seatbelt, along with sacral injuries and whiplash.

Yesterday I had my second follow up appt. My surgeon noted the differences and assigned me 3 exercises to do to help expand the pocket and encourage the implant to drop and soften.

Has anyone else had this problem/solution? Did the "massage" work? My PS wants to see me again in 4 weeks. I wouldn't think he'd need to see me again so soon if he wasn't a bit concerned himself.

Thanks in advance for input.

Carla
