Decision time

I am recently diagnosed with a 4 mm, stage 1a, grade 2, sentinel node negative TNBC. Lumpectomy is complete and I am scheduled to start radiation in August. I have differing opinions on need for chemo and am looking for the experience of others with similar situation and any thoughts regarding advice received and what guided your decision to pursue the course of treatment you did.

Thanks

Hi KPeace and welcome to Breastcancer.org!

You've come to the best place for support and advice to help you make the best treatment decisions for you. Our Community is an incredible source of knowledge.

Have you asked your doctors about whether a MammaPrint test would be appropriate for you, to help determine how helpful chemo would be for you? Check out the main Breastcancer.org site's page on the MammaPrint Test for more information.

We hope this helps. Others should be by shortly to weigh in.

Please keep us posted on what you decide!

thanks. None of the physicians involved talked about this test as a possibility. Something for me to consider.
