Young women should get Mastectomies over Lumpectomies

I was recommended this article with a new 2016 spring study that says women under 45 with BC who chose lumpectomies were almost twice as likely to die from BC than women under 45 who chose mastectomies. It's interesting because the same is not true for older BC patients.

I think it's an important read in making the decision for surgery and should be shared. It's a new study, so not many have seen it.
