Help at home

I'm wondering how long you all needed help at home post BMX? Or how long you would have wanted help?

    I certainly like people checking in to see if I needed anything, but as for 24/7 care- I didn't need it and certainly wouldn't have wanted it. I just wanted to sleep in quiet the first few days.

    can you reach your drains to strip them?

    yup, I had to show the nurses at the hospital that I could do them before discharge but it wasn't too hard. I hated doing it but would have probably hated someone else doing them even more! Mine came out from under my armpits about 4" below and I could do it without too much pain- just took it slow. I also have a bench in my shower so showering wasn't too difficult either.
