Switching from Tamoxifen to Letrozole

After four years on Tamoxifen (in spite of surgical removal of the ovaries) I now plan on switching to letrozole. My onc says I don't have to, but research suggests letrozole might work better with ILC than Tamoxifen. I feel I should do it, but I am a little scared of the switch. I've been doing fine on the Tamoxifen with very little side effects (my liver seems to be somewhat affected). Mood, hair, weight, joints, vagina - everything is fine. Anyone here with some encouraging experience with letrozole (femara)?
