Pulsing pain in right breast

I'm a 22 year old woman who has found a benign tumor in my left breast about three years ago. I have been on birth controls that stop menses and I haven't had a period since January, it's now about July.

Recently I have been noticing surging and pulsing sharp pain in my rightbreast. Naturally, after finding a tumor before, I am worried about possible tumors and worse. The pain started on the outside edge near my armpit. I have read that that may have to do with period hormones, yet I don't have periods so I'm a bit nervous. Anyway, the pain will only last for about 10 minutes and then go away . It could come back hours later to a day later. It has started moving closer to the nipple now. Still along the outside. I have done a check and haven't found anything that feels like a lump.

Just looking for some possibilities. I may just get checked out to be safe, but I hate wasting people's time if it's nothing (I know, silly).

Sereo - it's understandable that you are a bit concerned but we have all learned - some the hard way- to have it checked out. It's not silly - it's a precaution just to be on the safe side.

I have periodic stings on the affected breast every now and then. I had BC almost 5 years ago. Early stage and all clear since then.

None of us wants to be paranoid but we have the need to know mentality. Btw I didn't feel a lump either. My sister and mother did however. Not everyone is the same.

Good luck. You are so young to be worrying about this.

    Diane
