Mild antidepressants to deal with hot flashes and sleep issues

I am currently almost 3 years cancer free. I am still dealing with hot flashes and not sleeping. I am currently on Effexor150XR. My doctor is suggesting a different antidepressant in hopes that it will help sleep issues. The oncologist is telling me that both Effexor and Celexa work well with Tamoxifen. Has anyone had experience with switching or currently taking Celexa? If you switched what side effects did you experience?

    Hi!

    I'm on Celexa because Aromasin was making me moody, like I was PMSsed all the time. I was/am getting hot flashes, but over time, they have decreased in frequency and intensity. I don't really have any side effects; I just feel more even-tempered than I was before Celexa. Best wishes!
