After 1 year ..Gratitude !!

I completed one year on June 24th ...I had right breast total Masectomy with sentinel biopsy ( 3 nodes removed ) all negative ..mine was stage 0 but the size was 5 cm so Masectomy was the option for me .zi I didn't need chemo or radiation,didn't do reconstruction and won't plan to do even in future .

BC changed my life and total perception of my being ..After one year I feel perfectly healthy and no pain other then and off and on in my arm ..I started doing yoga six months ago and I love doing that and had helped me feel more peaceful and calm..

I am still in the process and do miss my right breast and sometimes feel very sad about all that happened ,but after giving a certain amount of time to being sad ..I feel gratitude to be alive ,and be with my husband like i used to be before, and very fortunate that it was caught in the earliest stage
