How do you determine where to get herbs/supplements?

Options

Hi all,

I'm curious as to how you all find your herbs/supplements and how do you determine they are what they claim they are? If I'm going to invest in complimentary medicine, I'd like to know it's actually what it says it is. :)

    Hi Asher,

I have a subscription to ConsumerLab.com where they independently test a wide variety of vitamins and supplements for potency and purity. That's how I know I am getting what I pay for with no unwanted contaminants. As far as where to get them, I shop around for the best price because I take a lot of supplements and spend a ridiculous amount of money on them. Usually that is online but not always. Amazon, Vitacost, iHerb, Lucky Vitamins are a few sites that I use frequently. Sometimes you can get a better deal going directly to the manufacturer's site. I also try to wait for coupon codes that you get by signing up for the sellers email lists, or I search online for promotional codes.
