trying not to freak out

So, as you can see from my stats. I am almost a year out from my LX with IORT for a stage 1 grade 1 IDC and have been on tamox since last august. Yesterday, I saw a small raised red spot at the 6'o clock position on my GOOD - non cancer side!!! It is slightly raised above the skin and feels like a teeny tiny pebble. it literally can"t be larger than 2mm x 2mm. if it was anywhere else on my body, I would think it was a tiny cyst and not worry at all...because it is attached to the skin and the bump is slightly raised. I have an appointment with my BS tomorrow to have it checked out. I think I just need to vent and see if anyone has had a benign finding that was similar.

Have you ruled out an insect bite?

Not totally, but I live in Southern California and we are not too buggy. I would be thrilled if it was!

I'm so glad I saw your post! I had something exactly the same pop up. My PCP and surgeon both said scar tissue, but I requested an excision al biopsy today to be sure. Seems like educated guesses get you dead! Now the fun of waiting g on the pathology begins.....hope yours turns out to be nothing! And mine, too!

I wanted to post for future views the follow up...I saw the Breast Surgeon today. She looked at the lump and did an ultrasound...Phew, just a tiny cyst
